Brunswick County did not note a positive case Saturday or Sunday; North Carolina now tops 2,500
As of Sunday, New Hanover County has 47 positive cases of COVID-19.
According to a Sunday press release, county health officials are contact tracing three new patients, who are currently isolated. At least one is believed to have contracted the disease through community transmission.
So far, 19 coronavirus patients in New Hanover County have recovered as measured by county criteria: Seven days after symptoms manifest, medical professionals deem patients recovered if they “have been fever free for at least three days without the use of fever reducing medication; and have improved respiratory symptoms.”
