RALEIGH, N.C. (WLOS) — Just before the Christmas holiday, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services added county-by-county COVID-19 vaccination information to its already existing coronavirus dashboard.
Data will be provided for the total number of people statewide, by county of residence, who have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Data for those who have received the second dose of the vaccine will be added in January.
The dashboard, which will be updated weekly each Tuesday morning at 8 a.m., showed on Thursday, Dec. 31, that 804 people had been vaccinated in Buncombe County so far. In Henderson County, the number was up to 734 successful first doses, and 389 people had been vaccinated in Haywood County.
