RALEIGH, N.C. — Kickoff to Kindergarten can’t take place like it usually does at Marbles Kids Museum, but the downtown Raleigh museum has an alternative.
The day-long event for rising kindergartners usually offers free admission to Marbles and a host of activities that are geared toward getting them ready for school, including a pretend lunch line and an opportunity to board a school bus.
But this year, because of the pandemic, Marbles is closed — and most kids across the region are starting school virtually.
