Between noon Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday, 4,721 people filed for unemployment due to COVID-19. It’s typical for North Carolina to see 2,000 or 3,000 claims every week — not every few hours — according to statistics from the federal government.

Get On The List

The State of North Carolina has ordered all bars, restaurants, and other non-essential businesses to shut down.

Many of our friends and neighbors depend on tips to make ends meet.

This virtual tip jar is for the state of North Carolina service industry staff – employees at bars, restaurants, salons, etc – to post their Venmo information so that customers, neighbors, and the great state of North Carolina residents can continue to support them.
